Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the use of Quanten's awareness materials and consulting services. Please read them at your convenience before proceeding with any engagement.
Last Updated: 14 April 2025
Scope of These Terms
These terms apply to all individuals and organisations that access Quanten's website, request information, or engage Quanten for any of its awareness programmes or consulting services. By submitting an enquiry or proceeding with a booking, you indicate that you have read and understood these terms.
Quanten reserves the right to update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your engagement shall apply. Continued use of Quanten's services after any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Nature of Offerings
Quanten provides workplace ethics awareness materials, facilitated group sessions, and programme-design consulting. All offerings are educational in nature and are intended to support an organisation's internal awareness activities.
Nothing within Quanten's materials, workshops, or consulting outputs constitutes professional advice of a legal, regulatory, human-resources, or compliance nature. Organisations are encouraged to seek guidance from appropriately qualified advisors regarding any matters that require such expertise.
Quanten does not represent that its content satisfies any mandatory regulatory, statutory, or industry-body requirement. Participants and client organisations are responsible for determining the suitability of Quanten's offerings for their own purposes.
Bookings and Confirmations
All bookings are subject to availability and are considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Quanten. An enquiry or expression of interest does not constitute a binding booking.
For the on-site workshop and the consulting engagement, Quanten will issue a brief written scope document prior to commencement. The client is expected to review and acknowledge this document before the engagement begins.
Quanten reserves the right to decline any booking request at its discretion without providing detailed reasons.
Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are subject to applicable taxes unless otherwise stated in writing. Payment terms will be specified in the booking confirmation or invoice issued by Quanten.
For the self-paced online module, access is provided upon receipt of full payment. For workshops and consulting engagements, Quanten may require a partial upfront payment prior to commencement, with the balance due as specified in the engagement documentation.
All fees listed on the Quanten website are indicative and may be subject to revision. The fees applicable to your engagement are those confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling terms vary by programme format and will be specified in the booking confirmation. As a general guide:
- Cancellations made with fourteen or more calendar days' notice may be eligible for a full or partial refund, subject to any preparation costs already incurred.
- Cancellations made with fewer than fourteen calendar days' notice may not be eligible for a refund of upfront payments.
- Rescheduling requests are accommodated where operationally practicable. Quanten will make reasonable efforts to find an alternative date.
If Quanten is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to circumstances within its control, it will offer a rescheduled date or a full refund of amounts paid.
Intellectual Property
All materials developed and supplied by Quanten — including module content, worksheets, summary cards, and programme documentation — remain the intellectual property of Quanten unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Client organisations may use materials supplied under an engagement for their own internal awareness activities. Redistribution, resale, or use outside the client organisation without Quanten's written consent is not permitted.
For the Internal Ethics Programme Build, the client retains ownership of materials developed specifically using their own organisational content (policies, internal scenarios). Quanten retains ownership of any frameworks, structures, and base templates contributed to the engagement.
Participant Conduct
Participants in Quanten workshops and programmes are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow participants. Quanten facilitators reserve the right to address conduct that disrupts the learning environment.
Recording of workshop sessions — whether audio, video, or otherwise — is not permitted without prior written consent from Quanten.
Limitation of Liability
Quanten's liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid by the client for that engagement. Quanten accepts no liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of its materials or services.
Quanten makes no representations regarding outcomes resulting from application of the content covered in its programmes. Decisions made by participants or client organisations on the basis of programme content are the responsibility of those parties.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
